Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is looking for a Creative Media Executive for an agency with an enviable portfolio of clients and a whole host of industry awards.
The Creative Media Executive will be part of a small team within the Creative Media department. The department produces creative video content, storyboards, scripting, filming and editing, and all pre-production work to the highest creative standards, both for their clients and company.
Creative Media Executive Responsibilities
Operating video cameras, on location or in the studio, in the production of professional pre-recorded programming
Designing, transporting, setting up and operating production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions
Planning the shoot with the creative team and/or client
Computer editing video segments on a variety of tape and digital formats
Inserting closed-captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video
Adding computer graphics and special effects to a video
Completing trouble and preventative maintenance reports on video and audio
production equipment, assisting in the repair and upkeep of studio and production sets
and properties
Maintaining an equipment inventory for field and studio production schedules
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Creative Media Executive Experience, Qualifications and Skills
Some film or media production experience in end to end production is essential
A keen eye for detail, beauty and a critical mind
Creativity, attention to detail, and a passionate interest in film and video making and editing
Patience and concentration for the perfect shot
The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team
A high level of self-motivation, commitment, dedication and energy
Excellent organisational, planning, administrative and time management skills
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Manual dexterity, physical mobility, and some physical strength/stamina
Bravery to get the camera shot in risky situations
The ability to capture snippets of film and be able to edit it into a cohesive story
The technical acumen to be able to operate, configure, set up and fix video, audio, lighting and grip equipment
Must know computerised editing software and equipment
Understanding of post-production techniques
Can work in a variety of digital venues with software to edit and finish film work
Some skills and passion for professional photography is essential
Full Driving Licence
