Account Executive - Tamworth £18 – 21k DOE Ref: AH316
Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is looking for an Account Executive with a least 1 year’s B2B marketing experience. We are looking for an experienced Marketer with at least one year of online/offline marketing. You will be working with a team of professionals who will support and nurture you to become an effective marketer across a wide range of activities including search engine optimisation, pay per click advertising, website management, CRM driven database marketing and social media.
This role is busy and multi-disciplinary. A positive attitude, the ability to organise workloads across a range of clients and complete work quickly and accurately are a must.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the team to deliver monthly Business Propeller services on time.
- Assisting with Search Engine Optimisation including keyword research, uploading and optimising website content (including landing pages and blogs). Full training will be given.
- Progress chasing internal and external colleagues/suppliers.
- Updating client campaign plans/calendars with data, progress and analytics.
- Scheduling social media posts – the ability to write them would give an advantage.
- Analysing data to optimise digital campaigns.
- Researching data and developing databases in Microsoft EXCEL and Google Sheets to assist our CRM manager and the telemarketing team.
- Building marketing automation email/workflow campaigns in Infusionsoft. (Full training will be given).
- Assisting with the creation of email campaigns and one-off email broadcasts in Infusionsoft and Mailchimp.
- Assisting with website updates in WordPress. (Full training will be given).
- Phone answering – a professional and confident telephone manner is crucial.
- Reporting – assisting account manager’s to report delivered services and progress to clients on a monthly basis.
What you’ll need:
- A great work ethic and the ability to learn fast.
- Good ICT skills including: Microsoft EXCEL, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
- The ability to understand the bigger marketing and lead generation picture.
- An excellent command of English to proof-read material before publishing.
- To be a good team player with a work ethic to just get stuck in!
- An understanding of WordPress, SEO and PPC - (full training will be given).
- A good understanding of CRM/database marketing (marketing automation) would be useful, but full training will also be given.
Suitable skills/experience:
A minimum of one year’s B2B marketing, experience, good written and verbal communication skills, excellent Microsoft EXCEL skills, content marketing experience plus SEO, PPC and social media marketing and a good telephone manner when answering inbound calls from clients and suppliers.
There are many opportunities to grow and either specialise in digital marketing or develop into a Junior Account Manager.
