Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced creative Content Creator with video editing skills, to join an enthusiastic team, passionate about their luxury brand. You must be an innovative creative, confident and love story telling through video. This is a new role for an award winning hair and beauty company; experience in this sector would be an advantage however experience in similar industries will be considered.

The successful person will be primarily involved in a wide range of content creation activities including video editing and optimising existing content, ensuring brand consistency across all digital channels. This is a crucial role for the business and essentially will be the brains behind intensifying brand-appeal through creative and thoughtful content.

As Content Creator you will be directly supporting the Creative Director and working alongside the Social Media Executive, to produce on brand content, which will then be edited and produced by the Content Creator.

Content Creator Responsibilities:

• Review, edit and repurpose existing content for a range of channels and customer groups, including social media platforms, marketing emails and the website.

• Support the creation of new video content by producing story boards, writing project briefs and liaising with external creative agency.

• Coordinate outsourced video shoots, clearly identifying key deliverables and outputs to maximise brand impact across all digital channels.

• Produce reactive content for our social media channels, with a strong emphasis on video editing. 

• Ensure all website content is kept up to date and optimised.

• Research industry-related topics and trends to identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content.

• Analyse competitors and pitch/develop new content ideas with the wider marketing team.

To excel in this role as Content Creator you will need:

•  At least 2 years’ experience as a Content Creator and Video Editor

• The ability to provide creative, engaging and compelling content.

• Exceptional and speedy video editing and photoshop skills.

• Effective communication skills; your native-standard written English is flawless (Italian is advantageous).

• Good level of experience in a similar role within a busy / diverse environment.

• Experience / knowledge of the hair and beauty industry would be advantageous.

• The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

• Ability to work proactively and performance-focused in nature to help drive results and improve the customer experience across all digital channels.

• Excellent time-keeper, honest and dependable.

• You’ll need strong project management and organisational ability.

Home based role

Support will be provided for this home based role.  All staff within the company are homebased however the successful Content Creator will need to live within commutable distance from Coventry for team meetings once lockdown is over.
