Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for an experienced Web Developer (WordPress Specialist) to build and project manage website production. Comfortable in taking a project through from initialisation to customisation.
The Web Developer will be joining a small friendly team with a broad customer base, including blue chip and local clients.
We need an experienced Web Developer with the following skills - Wordpress, PHP, MySQL, AJAX, Linux, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, Foundation/Bootstrap. You will be comfortable building websites for different platforms.
This role will be working on new build client websites predominantly using the Wordpress CMS. The successful Web Developer should be able to develop the websites front end as well as simple bespoke plugins where necessary. We will partner with specialist PHP developers on complex plugins when required.
You must have a good knowledge of WordPress, bespoke template creation, responsive design and have high quality coding skills. You will work closely with web designers who will create PSD layouts for you to turn into working websites. You will be the sole web developer initially but we hope to grow the team over the next 12 months.
You will have an eye for great design as well as strong web development skills. This role will also include API integration for native apps, E-commerce development and taking technical specifications from clients. The Web Developer is a key role and you will lead any technical website meetings in order to come up with robust solutions for our clients.
We need someone with the ability to work quickly under pressure, with good attention to detail and create work of the highest standard.
