Developer Northampton Up to £40k Ref: WD131
Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic & passionate Developer who will be skilled in both backend & frontend development.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years’ experience
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
- A minimum of 3 years LAMP development experience with a strong portfolio using the following;
- WordPress, Drupal, Magento, Javascript, Javascript, Jquery, HTML & CSS. The company do not use ASP so if this is your speciality this role is not for you.
- Full-Stack experience is required for salary in excess of £35k.
- Experience working in an agency environment delivering projects from start to finish
- In depth knowledge of creating maintainable, scalable & cross-browser layouts supporting all major browsers
- Experience of analysing & optimizing website performance
- Experience with mobile development & responsive design

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Based in Northampton, you will be an integral part of the digital department.
- Working hours are Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30, some flexibility may be required from time to time
- You will be predominantly responsible for the development of customer portals providing end-to-end solutions.
- Experienced front & back-end development for end-to-end service
- Websites & web application development using off the shelf CMS solutions & bespoke builds
- Debug issues & resolve system anomalies as required
- Play a key role in improving the platform & implementing best practice in conjunction with the wider technical team
- Ensure all activities are implemented in accordance with the Service Level Agreement
- Attending client meetings/conference calls where appropriate
- Develop & maintain good understanding of client’s proposition
- Respond to requests & work to deadlines
his is a permanent role with an initial probation period of 3 months you will then be given a clear progression path with 6 monthly assessments to monitor your progress.
