Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is looking for a Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator for an award winning organisation. The successful Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator will have experience in the design and production of various marketing material such as brochures for print and digital as well as PowerPoint presentations and other documents. The Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator will have an impressive eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Graphic Designer Job Responsibilities:
Follow brand guidelines - visual aesthetic and strategy must be consistent
Apply clients branding to bespoke documents including bid documents and presentations
Incorporate changes recommended by clients or management staff into the final design
Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
Manage social media platforms and ensure consistency throughout in design and engagement
Maintain the website and update when necessary
Work with management staff on content for news articles and social media posts
Stay up to date with both industry and world news as well as social media trends
Take photographs of new members of staff for the website and projects CVs (and edit accordingly)
Organise and take photographs to accompany news articles now and again
Look out for upcoming industry awards and put together submissions
Occasionally assist the Admin team with answering phones if busy
Graphic Designer Qualifications/Skills:
Strong graphic design/layout skills
Skills in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
Skills in Adobe Illustrator is desired but not essential
Basic knowledge of HTML and use of CMS is desired but not essential
Skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Basic photography skills
Social media savvy
Obtain an eye for detail
Creativity
Work well under pressure
Deadline-oriented
Time-management skills
Communication skills
Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
Experience in working in Design is a bonus but not essential
