Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is looking for an excellent all round Graphic Designer to work as part of an in-house design team on a range of creative and innovative projects for business product lines. Responsible for helping drive the creative direction of campaigns and producing impactful design solutions. Delivery of high quality and forward-thinking work and ideas in accordance with the company brand.
Graphic Designer Duties and responsibilities
Report to, and work with the Senior Designer and Head of Marketing
Produce internal campaigns and marketing collateral to promote product lines
Creation of digital design work, including display banners, creative emails and infographics
As Graphic Designer you will be responsible for the production of creative and impactful presentations
Support the creation of internal and external video production
Ensure all artwork produced meets the needs, requirements and brand values
Fulfil briefs to a required level within budget and on time
Demonstrate a deep understanding of each of the product lines, business, and objectives
Liaise with departments to discuss their requirements – and help to resolve any issues related to the work produced
Build strong inter-team relationships through regular briefing discussion, work planning and pro-active contact
Collaborate with other designers in creative meetings, offering input and sharing ideas
Manage your time effectively - communicate the time needed to complete projects and keeping stakeholders up to date
Maintain a high level of informed design knowledge
Communicate with external agencies and suppliers, requesting quotations and schedules
Send artwork to print, monitoring progress against agreed deadlines
Approval of proofs prior to production and approval of invoices against quotations provided
Ensure that all files and related images required for production of the creative product are effectively maintained and available/retrievable as and when required by maintaining effective back up procedures and ensure that artwork and related files are recoverable at all times
Ensure that all activity is aligned with brand values and behaviours, i.e. legal and complaint, decent and truthful, and incorporates the principles of Treating Customers Fairly and improving customer outcomes

Ability to produce creative editable and impactful presentations (PowerPoint)
Strong verbal and written skills
Determination to achieve and succeed
Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a high-pressured environment
Ability to see projects/tasks through from inception to production
Consistency regardless of project size
A Graphic Designer with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
Experienced Designer who shows a passion for design, creativity and client service
Understanding of design, typography, layout, artwork for all media
Understanding of print processes
Ability to switch gears calmly and rapidly as priorities shift without sacrificing work quality
Organised, positive, collaborative team player who supports the team
Proactive and able to work on own initiative
Willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
Personable, presentable and articulate
Qualifications and experience
Recognised qualification in Graphic Design or related subject and experience in graphic design role, supported by a strong portfolio of recent work.
