Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is looking for a Junior Designer Artworker, for a successful, well established agency, with at least 1 year of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate would be a recent graphics graduate with up to a couple of years work experience who is fluent in InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop, but is also someone who is equally at home putting together HTML emails and web banners or performing straightforward edits in Premier. It’s as important that the person we’re looking for is very well organised and methodical in their approach to work. Due to the nature of the work, although you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of interesting projects, this role does not require an idea’s person or very conceptual thinker, more of an excellent eye for detail and good layout design.
Junior Designer Artworker Responsibilities
Projects can be demanding and there will be a need to work to tight deadlines and within budgets of varying size.
You will be an important supporting role within the full service creative design team
As Junior Designer Artworker you’ll work across the full design process from, layout to completion and you will learn the process and importance of a fully-integrated campaign
An energetic and proactive approach is important crucial within this role
Junior Designer Artworker Experience
Design Degree.
At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, either through work experience or through placement.
Good layout design skills, with a portfolio showcasing this type of work
Junior Designer Artworker Skills
Fluent in InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop
Experience of putting together HTML emails and web banners
Performing straightforward video edits in Premier
Can work independently and also as part of a team
An eagerness and willingness to learn and take instruction
Take lead from more senior creatives in the team
Prompt and organised
A clear passion for design, branding, typography, animation, advertising, etc.
Close attention to detail
