Junior Digital Designer - Nottingham £16 – 20k Contract 6 or 12 month fixed term Ref: GD232
Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is looking for a Junior Designer with at least 6 months digital design experience within a commercial environment. You can expect to be producing a digital graphics for a variety of bespoke digital and mobile based marketing communications solutions. Once you've finished your training programme, you'll be independently creating creative solutions and gaining invaluable knowledge. They work with some of the world's biggest brands so you'll become a whiz with brand guidelines and learn how to work with corporate clients. There will also be the opportunity for you to develop eye catching motion-graphic animations and provide support in the creation of UI/UX designs for software projects.
The Design team has a wealth of creative experience and they encourage everyone to share their ideas and best tips and tricks. You'll be able to develop skills in animation, 3D design and illustration by working alongside these talented people.

What does this role involve?
- Producing designs for a variety of projects: creating, sourcing and modifying imagery
- Gaining experience of working with brand guidelines to design effective imagery
- Creating illustrations, info-graphics and editorial style layouts
- Creating digital content and building eLearning courses using authoring tools such as
- Articulate Storyline
- Supporting in the design and creation of new templates
- Developing skills in HTML and basic JavaScript to manipulate pages.

- Be a clear and engaging communicator; someone who is passionate about design!
- Have a range of digital design skills as demonstrated in a well thought out portfolio
- Have at least 6 months experience in a digital design role
- Have a strong working knowledge of the full Adobe creative suite
- Have some knowledge of brand guidelines
- Hold a higher-level qualification in a creative field
- Have excellent attention to detail and great layout skills
- Have a creative and conceptual approach to work
- Have a good understanding of design principles
What are the 'nice to haves'?
- Experience in animation, motion graphics or illustration
- Experience of using Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate
- •Basic front end coding skills.
