Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is looking for a good all round Designer for full-time maternity cover. 

You will have the opportunity to work on many different interesting projects for an enviable list of clients. This can range from simple Powerpoint presentations and printed booklets to fully animated/live action films.

We’re looking for a creative Designer to join a multi-disciplinary studio based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.  The contract is full-time for 11 months, starting beginning December 2019. The maternity cover contract may possibly extending to a part-time position after the 11 month period.

 The Designer role:

A creative all-round Designer, capable of producing excellent work across a wide range of media, ideally including animation (not essential but with willingness to learn). You must be able to use your initiative, strong organisational skills and versatility whilst working within our team co-designing print, digital and film-based solutions.

 As Creative Designer you’ll need the following: 

  • Ability to generate creative and finished design solutions across a wide range of media on time and on brief

  • The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • 2+ years working within a commercial studio/agency

  • Fully conversant in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects a definite advantage
