Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd are looking for a New Product Development Manager/Project Coordinator for a leading importers and distributors, supplying the retail trade throughout UK and Europe.

New Product Development Manager / Project Coordinator day–to-day skills
Managing and motivating the in-house design staff, planning work schedules according to priorities and key launch dates and documenting project progress
Managing our network of freelance designers
Complete project management of new product development from concept to launch.
Effectively communicate with the purchasing team and suppliers to facilitate on target, on time product launches.
Communicate with the marketing team to promote a successful product marketing mix
Maintain strong relationship with affiliates, licensees and suppliers
Manage approval process and key stage sign offs with license companies and company stake holders.
Assist in the acquisition of new licenses
Chairing design meetings, both for new ideas and current project meetings.
Fully protect all intellectual property rights

Evidence of project management excellence
Product design knowledge
Experience of managing staff
Ability to manage product/projects through all of the design phases, manufacturing etc
Outstanding attention to detail
Strong organisational skills
Excellent communication and active listening skills
Proven track record in a similar position
