Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales and Marketing Assistant within the beauty and fashion sector. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive marketing and office assistant to support the Sales and Marketing departments. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales and Marketing Assistant; along with administrative duties, you will be helping to develop and implement digital and marketing activities and provide support with the company’s professional and consumer customers. 

Sales and Marketing Assistant Key Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of marketing campaigns, from basic office admin to supporting and developing marketing ideas.

• Opportunity to contribute ideas and concepts for social media strategies, NPD and marketing campaigns

• Creating briefs and presentations for key stakeholders, using Photoshop and InDesign (ideally you will have experience of this or willing to learn)

• Stock and sample library management

• Help work on presentations for salon and stockist partners

• Proactively engage in community management, ensuring all social queries are responded to within agreed SLAs

• Ability to manage and respond to inbound messages on social channels in adherence to brand guidelines and tone of voice.

• Support with customer enquiries, including monitoring orders and liaising with warehouse partners where required.

• Support with Chatbot and Whatsapp customer product enquiries.

• Support with organising and managing training and event calendars and ensuring all necessary assets are prepared and available for events.

• Assist with the creation of training materials

• Assist with completion of forms, documents for trade customers as required.

• Assist sales with ad-hoc projects

Sales and Marketing Assistant Requirements & Key Attributes – Skills & Requirements

• Results driven with a commitment to working to high standards

• Must be able to come into our office for regular meetings

• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive

• Knowledge in social media

• Marketing/Digital knowledge in the beauty industry is a plus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of the Web, PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook

• Ideally experience with Adobe packages (Photoshop & InDesign) if not willing to learn

• Knowledge of basic photo editing skills would be bonus.

• Passion for the Beauty/Cosmetics Industry

• Highly organised with the ability to manage multi-tasks

Home based role  

Support will be provided for this home based role.  All staff within the company are homebased however the successful Sales and Marketing Assistant will need to live within commutable distance from South Birmingham for team meetings once lockdown is over, they may move to part time office work in the future.
