Senior Digital & UX Designer Derbyshire c£35k Ref: GD241
Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd are looking for an ambitious digital and UX Designer to work in a busy studio working across varied projects and disciplines
You'll be a great communicator, ensuring design teams, client services and development teams experience a smooth design process from project briefing to deployment. You’ll have worked in a design agency and have many websites under your belt, as well as client facing experience.
- You will have solid expertise in web design, user experience and interactive media.
- 5+ years agency experience practicing web and UX design
- Excellent level of knowledge of design applications such as Adobe CS suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Experience working across all graphic disciplines
- Knowledge of front end development technologies including HTML and CSS to effectively communicate ideas and concepts to developers.
- Solid understanding of responsive layout design techniques
- Solid understanding of user experience design, user interface design, creating interactive wireframes, prototypes is essential
- Knowledge of wire framing and prototyping tools such as UX Pin, InVision and Lucid Charts.
- Retail design experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- Front end development experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- Experience articulating concepts and designs to developers
- Knowledge of website testing and experience with user testing techniques.
- Experience working on e-commerce projects
