Social Media Manager responsibilities and the day-to-day
Acting as the main contact for your own portfolio of clients you will take ownership of all social media and content activity for your clients
Responsibility for managing and growing clients’ social media accounts and producing digital content. This will be across all stages of activity from strategy, planning and research, to implementing and writing/scheduling posts, through to reporting and analysis and the day-to-day monitoring of accounts
Developing creative and engaging social media strategies and digital content
Planning, executing and reporting on effective social media advertising campaigns
Liaising with influencers and bloggers to build relationships on behalf of clients
Providing innovative and creative ideas, as well as strategic advice to clients
Monitoring, tracking, analysing and reporting on performance on social media platforms to fulfil clients’ key performance indicators
Recommending improvements to increase organic growth and performance on an ongoing basis
Staying ahead of the latest innovations and feature launches across all social media platforms and evolving the content and strategy in line with these
Managing account executives
Being involved in pitching for new business and developing proposals
Supporting the marketing and development of the agency, including attracting new clients
Championing the agency values and brand.
Social Media Manager Requirements
2+ years’ agency social media account management experience
Evidence of copywriting, content creation, social media management, social media advertising, account management and client liaison skills.
You will have experience in social media account management and client liaison, as well as experience working with consumer brands.
Will understand how to build an online presence and run social media accounts – from strategy to lead generation, advertising management, influencer outreach and content creation (and everything in between!)
Agency experience in handling the entire social media strategy and developing digital content for multiple B2C clients is vital, and an understanding of wider digital marketing such as PPC, digital PR and SEO is desirable.
The role will also include assisting agency development and taking them to the next level.
It requires a passionate, motivated and talented individual to be part of the agency’s journey.

Capability to strategically set up social media advertising campaigns
High levels of communication and presentation (both verbal and written)
Flair for creativity and innovation
Ability to think strategically
Strong copywriting and marketing skills
Good industry knowledge
Experience in building influential networks
Solid technological and digital ability
Excellent time and project management skills
Outstanding organisation skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios
Commercially aware and business savvy
Most importantly, friendly and sociable and able to work in a small team!
